•Software development activities for industrial automation projects
•Software design, implementation, unit tests, module tests, debugging and release tasks in a multi-site, international software development environment
•Incubate innovative concepts and develop publications or patents;

What do I need to qualify for this job?
•Master’s degree or above in computer engineering, computer science, electrical and electronics engineering or equivalent experience
•Knowledge and experience in C or C++ programming languages
•Knowledge in embedded systems development and real-time operating systems
•Good competence in English.
•Passion for developing a simple, clean, and attractive code
•Willing and able to take on complex projects independently
•Committed to following development best practices
•Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Preferred Knowledge/Skills
•Knowledge in object oriented programming, analysis, and design
•Knowledge on industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET, DDS and OPC UA
•Familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens PLC products
•Familiarity with scripted language (e.g. Python, Lua)
