Paint Line Worker

Siemens Logistics LLC is experiencing growth in our Manufacturing operations at our DFW Airport (Irving) location. We are searching for qualified Paint Line Workers to fill immediate full time positions with access to a comprehensive Benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and more.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  
• Operates Blast Chamber, Paint Booth and Drying Oven. Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Fully analyzes all required blueprints, drawings, work orders and sketches to apply desired finish to product or part. Can detect errors and correct through proper departmental channels.
• Positions workpiece inside of Blast Chamber, Paint Booth and Drying Oven. 
• Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction. 
• Operates any equipment needed to perform job, 
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervision. 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee will regularly be required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. 

The employee must be able to pass a respirator test.

 

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

 

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
