Oracle DBA

Exp Level - 8-10 Yrs

Shift Timing - 11:00 AM to 08:00 PM (IST)

· B.S. Computer Science or Management Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent
· Ten years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
· Candidate must have excellent communication skills and experience working with end users.
· Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and requests at one time
· Demonstrated ability to meet critical time-sensitive objectives, emphasis on planning skills
· Demonstrated strong analytical and root cause analysis skills
· Enterprise environment experience is preferred.
· A successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in each of the criteria below, with a stronger emphasis on leveraging these technologies within organizated IT projects
· 2+ Experience with Oracle 12c
· 2+ years’ experience working on Oracle Exadata environment.
· Demonstrable experience with Oracle including installing, upgrading patching and monitoring and performance tuning in Oracle Exadata Environment.
· Demonstrable experience with Oracle ASM Storage systems.
· RMAN experience including backup, recovery and cloning of Oracle Databases.
· 8 years experience with implementing Oracle Data Guard for Disaster recovery.
· 8 years experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager to monitor performance issues in databases and other Oracle products.
· Demonstrable experience with Cloud Computing and project experience leveraging the technology.
· 2+ years experience with Exadata Architecture to include Compute Node and Cell Storage and Infiniband Switches.
· 8 years experience with tuning of Oracle database systems. Tools included are AWR reports ADDM and SQLT.
