This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for:



·  In your activities you willCreate and/or review test plans of complex mechanical systems
·  You willSupport the assembling and tuning of complex test setups
·  You willSupport test plans execution
·  You willParticipate in the collection of data and in their analysis, create test reports
·  You willParticipate in the review and analysis of mechanical drawings of components and assemblies
·  You willSupport and participate in the debugging of mechanical prototypes

·You willParticipate into the identification of design improvements

This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below,and would like todo develop your career with Healthineers



·  You have hands on experience in running and/or building mechanical test fixtures
·  You have experience with sensors and data acquisition electronics, e.g. data loggers, thermistors, encoders, accelerometers, etc…
·  You have previous experience with the creation of mechanical drawings
·  You have had coursework in: strength of materials, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, statistics, dynamics

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

·  You have good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
·  You will be working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions
·  You have good presentation and communication skills in a team environment.
·  Your academic major is in the engineering field (mechanical engineering preferred).
·  You have basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes
·  Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher

Start date in Summer 2020
