Job Description

Manufacturing Administrator

At Siemens New Kensington, PA, the Manufacturing Administrator will support the supervisors and team leads tracking orders through the Large Drives assembly and test processes. Additionally, the Manufacturing Administrator will assist in a variety of tasks that support efficient production processes.

Gathers data and information from the Production organization (e.g. personal working hours, absenteeism, operating grade, workload, defective goods, etc.).
Prepares routine reports, correspondence, and/or statistics, for unit management.
Maintains records and filing systems; types and/or enters data into computer systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, or specialized software packages.
Performs the administration of programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the organizational unit served.

Typical actions associated with this job include but are not limited to the following.
•part transactions in SAP
•part shortage reports
•running reports for production efficiency
•ordering labels and nameplates
•updating shop floor white boards for tracking
•printing drawing and schematic documents
•creating shop floor work packets with drawings, checklists, and scan sheets
•performing SAP transactions to close production orders that are completed
•ordering office supplies
