Siemens Corporate Technology in Moscow / Saint-Petersburginvites applications for a R&D Engineer position in the area of Metals Processing and Engineering.

What arethe responsibilities?

· Research and development in the area of metals processing and engineering;
· Collaboration with Universities and close interaction with global Siemens partners;
· Management of projects;

What do you need to qualify for this job?

· MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Mathematics or similar, PhD is preferable;
· Expert knowledge in one of the following areas:
· Metal alloys processing: e.g. welding and repair technologies, additive manufacturing;
· Solid mechanics and fracture mechanics and experience with commercial finite element codes (e.g. ANSYS, ABAQUS, NX Advanced Simulation); experience with specialized fracture mechanics software (e.g. NASGRO, FRANC3D) would be a plus;
· Excellent computer programming skills (e.g. C/C++, Python) and demonstrated experience with development of software tools for engineering applications;

· Good communication skills, team player;
· Creative with passion for technology;
· Very good written and verbal English to interact with global partners.
