In todays fast pace industrial controls market the need for companies to increase efficiency and meet domestic and international codes and standards, engineering know-how and solution know-how for control panel design is not only a must, but a competitive advantage. The need to be compliant and more efficient is highly sought after by customers, and a resource that can provide this can truly make a difference.The Control Products (CP) business unit of Siemens is seeking an individual that can fulfill this need. As a Control Panel Sales Specialist, you would become the trusted advisor that will assist our field based resources and sales channel to drive awareness, and enablement within the industrial controls market. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the Control Panel Sales Specialist is an individual contributor that would assist the sales force to pursue market based expansion, drive awareness, consult on standards (UL, IEC), how to utilize Siemens Product master data in common engineering software tools and promote our Control Panel Engineering program to the market.This is an outstanding opportunity to join a strong team providing the best end to end industrial controls solutions in the market. What are my main responsibilities?

· Lead promoter to market for Siemens’ “Control Panel Engineering”, our intelligent data management for control panel projects.
· Drive optimization of current control panel layouts and designs
· Drive field based awareness and training for customers, partners, and distributors as well as sales colleagues
· Keep up-to-date as regards expansion of new and changing standards/concepts within scope
· Explore market transparency for the Control Panel Builder market
· Define focus customers and develop and align sales approach.
· Drive CP sales activities for the focus customers

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering
· 3+ years of working experience
· with Controls, and Circuit Protection: IEC controls, Circuit Breakers and panel build standards / codes, i.e. IEC
· in control panel applications
· with electrical drawing packages, such as Autodesk’s AutoCAD Electrical and EPlan P8
· in promotion and consulting
· Dynamic and compelling presentation deliver skills
· Creativity and problem solving skill set
· Basic knowledge in Automation and Drives technology
· Previous experience with Siemens Control Products will be considered a plus
