LMS Testing Solutions gives our customers access to a complete platform of test-based engineering solutions for rotating machinery, structural dynamics, acoustics, durability and environmental testing, vibration control and data management. Testing departments around the world count on LMS Testing Solutions to increase test efficiency and productivity, maintain the utmost quality and ultimately achieve a higher return on investment from existing testing facilities.

We are seeking a Business Developer to join our TEST Division, to be based in Leuven (Belgium). Your focus will be on:

· Maximizing sales of existing products and services for the assigned Market Segment (Durability Testing)
· Support launch of new solutions and services
· Deal supporting for large (named) opportunities
· Training of the regional sales and presales engineers
· Contribution to marketing campaigns and global sales initiatives

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

· Support regional sales organizations by defining and executing sales programs
· Leveraging successes from one region to another
· Guiding regional offices to go to new market segments with existing products
· Ensure availability of required sales materials
· Develop & maintain a view on market potential for the assigned market segment
· Work with Test Division Management to set targets for the market segment
· Analyse market segment & define strategy to maximize market share for LMS
· Work with Product Management to improve the product lines
· Help enabling the sales of the relevant solutions through the regular field sales force
· Training of sales and presales force on new solutions
· Work with regional sales engineers to develop first reference accounts for new solutions
· Act as liaison person between the regions and the Test Division in support of larger deals
· Coordination of efforts at HQ in support of technical and commercial close of the opportunity
· Work with Product Management and Product Development Management on required deal commitments
· Report on progress for the assigned opportunities
· Ensure that sales engineers are sufficiently familiar with the offering in order to represent the solutions effectively in front of the customers
· Ensure availability of training materials for sales

Profile:

· Educational level: Engineering or higher (Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electronical)
· Knowledge of the LMS Test products (SCADAS, TecWare, Test.Lab) and/or competitive solutions (HBM, SOMAT eDAQ, Dewetron, nCode GlyphWorks, MTS RPC, IST RS Labsite)
· Experience in technical/commercial customer contacts
· Knowledge of theory and background with regards to fatigue testing; basics of fatigue (stress-life/strain-life/rainflow counting/SN-curves)
· Knowledgeable about durability engineering process in ground transportation (automotive, automotive supplier, truck and bus) and heavy equipment machinery:
· Road load data acquisition (sensors, data acquisition systems)
· Durability data processing (data consolidation)
· Customer correlation
· Rig testing (drive file development, component testing)
· Customer oriented
· Analytical mind
· Team player
· Creative and innovation-minded
· Stress tolerant
· Flexible
· Willing to travel globally (25-30%)
· Fluent in English, knowledge of Asian languages is a plus
