Siemens Intelligent Traffic Solutions
On highways, down inner city streets, through tunnels and railway crossings - an endless stream of cars, trains, buses. Traffic is a complex, nonstop challenge for major city centers and small communities alike. Coordinating traffic, staying on top of its ebbs and flows, is a complex, demanding task for emergency support personnel, city planners and transportation system operators everywhere.

Reliable network communications are a critical necessity for monitoring and managing increasingly complex transportation infrastructures. Knowing what is happening and where, from tracking buses and trains on their routes, to locating and addressing stalled vehicles, to connecting drivers with important information about road and traffic conditions – effective traffic management demands intelligent transportation systems and connected vehicle.

Position Overview:
The Associate Product Marketing Manager, Intelligent Traffic Solutions (ITS) is an exciting new role for someone that will oversee product marketing activities while supporting strategic go-to-market tasks that can help the organization grow over time.

Must be located in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities
·  Own and drive marketing plan and strategy for the product portfolio
·  Support product management go-to-market activities, including monitoring of product and sales performance, identification of strengths and weaknesses
·  Develop, design and keep product collateral up-to-date, including technical guides, sales manuals, whitepapers and other portfolio-related materials
·  Plan, design, develop and deliver product training events and webinars to customers, new hires and existing employees
·  Manage advertisement and video campaigns, monitoring effect and quality while planning for continuous improvement
·  Research to provide market intelligence on areas or competitors associated with the portfolio
·  Project manage conferences, tradeshows and customer meetings as required
·  Own internal marketing tools (e.g. GoToMeeting, SurveyMonkey) as key administrator, providing support to key users
·  Gather customer satisfaction data by conducting market studies, interviews and customer feedback surveys
·  Prepare monthly marketing reports

What do I need to qualify for this job?
·  You are self-motivated, with an interest and aptitude to learn our technical products and a high degree of attention to detail
·  Minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering or technical marketing environment
·  Strong communication, business writing and presentation skills
·  Ability to organize and prioritize a diverse set of tasks for timely completion
·  Ability to come up with creative ideas to help better position our products
·  Knowledge of Microsoft-based applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
·  Knowledge of image editing applications such as InDesign and Photoshop
·  Integrity – job requires appropriate handling of confidential, sensitive information
Education background:
BS/BA or MS in an Engineering or Marketing discipline.
