Job description

I. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·
Read understand and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, assembly drawings, elevation drawings, device/component tables, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams, single line drawings, etc.

·
Assembly and wiring of switchgear product and components using pneumatic electric and manual hand tools and equipment.

·
Utilize computer systems to get information required.

·
Rework of switchgear wiring and assembly at the request of and guidance of the QA technicians.

·
Modify special switchgear parts requiring operation of equipment such as drill presses, band saws, tappers, single hole punches, ovens, and similar equipment.

·
Obtain and handle large parts, subassemblies and components, utilizing material handling equipment such as cranes, hoists, and powered industrial vehicles.
