· Manage a number of software deployment and projects
· Gather client requirements and feedback, working with consultants and product managers to develop a project plan and ensure a viable implementation
· Develop a trusted relationship with the customer through delivering their requirements
· Oversee project team interactions coordinating project elements and communicating project progress, both internally and to customers
· Plan transition of responsibility to support team once project delivery is complete
· Work with senior technical staff to improve and mature deployment project management processes

Job Profile

A Senior Project Application Engineer position has become available due to growth within the team, the purpose of the job is:

To provide technical expertise during the design, implementation, installation and maintenance of Manufacturing Operations Management (MES) systems following detailed customer requirements.

Ensures that client needs are met and that products and solutions are fully functioning according to specification. The successful candidate may also provide follow-up support to Sales and Customer Services.

Working on international projects within an international team ensuring they are run to timescale and meet the expectations of the client, whilst liaising closely with the Project Manager on the commercial and scheduling effect of scope variations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Interprets customer technical specifications and assists customers in defining detailed requirements.
· Prepares detailed specifications on MES systems
· Works on the Design, Implementation, Testing and Commissioning of the Software solution alone and/or together within a project team.

Profil recherché

Qualifications :

Experience:

·  A seasoned, experienced professional providing technical consultation on MES systems; resolving a wide range of issues in creative ways
·  Expert Knowledge of working with MES industry related systems, highly desirable
·  Experience with Wonderware Solutions is a plus
·  Expert knowledge of Microsoft development, Database, HTML5 / CSS and JS programming

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Automation & Industrial Software

Languages:

Fluent in English. Italian and/or French is desirable
