Solution Battery Purchaser (m/w) 80 - 100%

In this role you will join a highly motivated Schneider Electric battery team managing a key critical high spend commodity for Schneider Electric across all regions. The aim of this position is to support the GUTOR Electronic LLC factories in Wettingen & Malaysia for Purchasing activities with an efficient supplier selection and management process in battery management.

Your field of work - diverse

Contribution to the supplier selection process, ensuring selection of most appropriate battery supplier through the project - in line with marketing and customer requirements

·
Full purchasing lifecycle involvement from project tendering to completion, integrating all aspects of the bid and quote process in the region

·
Perform procurement market research in accordance with business objectives

·
Lead the quotation process to influence best price and quality requirements

·
Conduct price and condition negotiations to maximize savings and improve margin

·
Ensure the operational relationships with allocated suppliers and drive sustainable competition into the supplier panel

·
Prepare presentations and key figures and manage the price book listing

·
Manage supplier crisis as first escalation level

Your profile - qualified

·
Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Purchasing, Engineering or Supply Chain or equivalent education

·
Some years of experience in a purchasing team internally of a multinational corporation or similar technology organisation

·
Proven track of record in negotiation in complex environment

·
Experience in management of technical and commercial aspects of battery storage devices in battery technology would be a plus

·
Strong negotiations skills, capability of handling multiple and conflicting priorities and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment

·
Spoken and written fluent communication in English along with German & business working knowledge of French

·
Fluent in English, German is an advantage
