What is the role?

Based in Sydney, we are now actively recruiting a Software Support Engineer for our Global Customer Support, business.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Responsible for providing technical support via phone, email & web chat for Wonderware software products to experienced end users, distributors and system integrators.
· Researching issues and interfacing with product development, product management, and other technical support engineers as required.
· Active participation in various prioritization meetings as required.
· Writing knowledge articles, tech alerts/notes, utilities.

·  Tertiary qualified in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related disciplines with experience providing technical support or operations / project delivery in appropriate environments.
·  Excellent communication skills enabling the professional management of key accounts
·  Solid troubleshooting skills
·  Experience with complex software configurations, networking, TCP/IP communications, database connectivity, SQL.
·  Basic to intermediate knowledge of scripting / programming.
·  Recognised but not mandatory experience (we will provide full training on our software)
·  HMI/SCADA, MES, mobile solution, communication with PLC / RTU / DCS devices
·  Factory automation, systems integration and software development
·  Experience with Citect SCADA or Wonderware products
·  Ability and willingness to work some evenings and public holidays
