· Manage a number of software deployment and projects
· Gather client requirements and feedback, working with consultants and product managers to develop a project plan and ensure a viable implementation

· Oversee project team interactions coordinating project elements and communicating project progress, both internally and to customers
· Plan transition of responsibility to support team once project delivery is complete

Job Profile

A Senior Software Application Engineer position has become available within Schneider Electric Software EURA Projects Delivery team. The selected candidate will be based in France and will be part of our Global MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Projects Delivery team. Depending on your profile and experience, you will be involved in one or more of the following activities required to implement an MES solution, based on Wonderware Software, in different industries for Schneider Electric customers:

· Participate in meetings and workshops with our customers to collect their requirements and generate the required functional requirements specifications and software design specifications.
· Develop the detailed design of the solution and drive its implementation within a team of software application engineers.
· Write the System Acceptance Tests Specification and the solution documentation.
· Perform the System Acceptance Tests with the customer and validate the solution before its deployment in a production environment.
· Deploy and commission the MES solution at our customer's production site.
· Ensures that the deployed solution meet the customer needs and that it is fully functioning according to the defined specifications.
· Provide follow-up support on the solution to our Solution Support team.
· Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the project is executed according to its planning and budget.
· Working on international projects within an international team ensuring they are run to timescale and meet the expectations of the client, whilst liaising closely with the Project Manager on the commercial and scheduling effect of scope variations.

Profil recherché

Qualifications :

Education:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or Automation & Industrial Software Engineering

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in Software development in the Manufacturing or Automation IT domain, acquired from a System Integrator or Software Solution provider.

Good knowledge of application development in SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, VB & C# in MS Windows environment.

Experience with Wonderware Software (System Platform, MES, Skelta BPM) or with another MES solution is a plus.

Languages:

Fluent in French and English.
