Job description

Schneider Electric offers products and solutions for critical power and cooling systems. We are now seeking a Secure Power Services Sales Engineer to join our team in Singapore who will be responsible to achieve sales targets in a profitable way and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive selling, customer relationship management and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues.

Tasks

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
· Identify opportunities within existing installed customer base, and execute sales strategies to promote extended sales coverage including cross-selling.
· To support Business Unit growth initiatives through strategic customers and business development.
· Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
· Implement service strategy through installed-base coverage directly and through various channels
· Manage and develop key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
· Ability to initiate and close big deals negotiations of key contracts.
· Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, orders, contracts, invoicing, payments to ensure achievement of goals.
· Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels.
· Ensure prompt follow up of all opportunities and provide regular update in sales opportunities backend system.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Bachelor / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
·  At least 3-5 years of Sales experience in Service Sales in UPS, CRAC or equivalent
·  Good technical skills and knowledge in Critical Power and Cooling equipment, mainly in Data Centre space
·  Previous experience in Services and Recurring maintenance contract will be a key differentiator.
·  Basic knowledge of global Schneider portfolio, strong customer relations in Utilities, Private Industries.
·  Must have good working experience in multi-vendor offers and delivery scenario
·  Strong ability to analyse market and competitors
·  Excellent relationship skills and communication with executive leaders and C-level customers
·  Be digitally savvy, a self-starter on social medias, e.g. LinkedIn
