We have a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as a Sales Support Engineer.

Mission:
To Manage the distributor channel for all Schneider Electric brands, therefore maximizing the business opportunity for the company and ensuring a competitive advantage is gained by Schneider Electric. The individual will need to use all company tools and processes to ensure we have an efficient distributor channel that supports our ambitions.

Key responsibilities:
1). Execute the Company returns process as defined by each entity. Accept responsibility of the sole arbitrator in all matters relating to the stock cleanse policy
2). Understand & Communicate all entity trading policies, processes & procedures to 'Official distributors' either directly or via local sales engineers as defined by each entity. Understand the distributor's Sales performance and relaying this information back to the local sales engineers as appropriate
3). Provide core product quotations to 'Official Distributors' as and when requested at List price
4). Play an active role for all Schneider Electric brands in achieving leverage in turnover in areas such as: Promotional Activity, Price Increases, Yearend rebate gap to targets as defined by each entity
5). Gather market intelligence and market competitor activity & feedback to marketing Services
6). Implement Product Launches, promotions and trade counter events within 'Official distributors' as defined by each entity
7). Deploy and Install 'Point of sale' as defined by the entity
8). Manage the commercial data with the company CRM tool with such details as Contacts, job titles, contact details, email addresses etc.
9). Deploy the Entity training programmes as defined by the entity policies to ensure the 'official distributor' is trained to sell the Schneider Electric offers into the local market
10). Take a leading role in Stock management as defined by the entity. Asses the local stock holding by offer by range and utilizing company tools to ensure that the 'Official Distributor' keeps an agreed stock profile
11). Collaboration- Play an active role within your commercial region to ensure you know your local colleagues and there job role. Take actions to ensure regular contact to maximize any opportunities for Schneider Electric
12). Prepare a monthly report on time and inline with the structure outlined by the Sales Support Manager
13). Take the lead role in finding suitable resolutions to outstanding debit notes and report back action taken to the finance department.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

Essential Skills & Experience:
• Min 5 years industry experience in the Electrical Utility or Large Scale Renewable Segment
• Extensive Sales/Marketing experience ideally with a strong background in Medium Voltage Products & Solutions.
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Demonstrate organizational and planning skills
• Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills
• Well developed inter-personal skills
• PC literate

Desirable:
• Experience of working in a sales or marketing environment
• Presentation Skills
• Knowledge of Electrical Wholesale / Distribution Markets
Other Requirements:
• Full Driving license
• Mobile when required.
