We are currently seeking a Project Quality Leader to join the Project Quality team, as part of the CS&Q (Customer Satisfaction & Quality) department. This position is based in Bangalore, Karnataka (India) and will report to the Project Quality Manager, based in Burnaby, BC (Canada).

We are looking for a positive, confident, self-motivated, passionate individual with a strong desire to work in an exciting, fast-paced, team-based collaborative design environment to help us develop next generation technologies to empower and connect our products to each other, and to our customers.

Responsibilities

· Establish the Quality & Reliability Plans for various power electronics development projects, get these plans validated and lead their execution
· Define the quality goals of the projects
· Prepare the project quality deliverables for the different stage gates of the projects
· Ensure that project risks are identified and assessed, and that mitigation plans are managed and updated in the projects
· Support and coach the Engineering teams on methods and quality tools (e.g. DMA – Design Margin Analysis; Hardware DFMEA – Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis; ULA – Useful Life Analysis; SLA – Shelf Life Analysis) to achieve product robustness, customer satisfaction and quality targets
· Drive the AFMEA (Application FMEA) activities
· Drive the FTAs (Fault Tree Analysis) resulting from the FMEAs
· Collaborate with the Manufacturing Quality Engineers and the Industrialization Engineers for the manufacturing-related deliverables (e.g. FAE – First Article Evaluation; PFMEA – Process FMEA)
· Perform other duties as assigned

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Education and Experience

·  Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics) or equivalent experience in related industry
·  3+ years experience in Project Quality for hardware projects involving electronic, electrical and mechanical components

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·  Working knowledge of DMA, ULA, SLA, FMEA and FTA
·  Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
·  Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and report writing
·  Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
·  Strong communication skills in English is a must (written and verbal)
·  Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organization skills to handle multiple tasks
·  Strong data analysis and mathematics/interpretation skills
·  Comfortable in creating presentations and presenting to internal teams
·  Ability to work in collaborative/supportive manner with international teams located on multiple continents, with suppliers and other stakeholders
