About our Line of Business

Residential Temperature Controls is an innovative and fast-growing Line of Business in the Connect Living division providing cutting-edge IoT solutions & products.

We provide intelligent interface between humans and buildings to bring Comfort, Safety & Efficiency to our customer's lives.

Connected Living services the residential, hotel and commercial buildings segment and delivers 2 unique value propositions:

· Under the EcoStruxure Building umbrella, it delivers the solutions for Light & Room control, Hotel Guest Room Management, Emergency Lighting and HVAC control
· Under the Wiser Program , Connected Living owns the connectivity play for Schneider in the residential IoT market with core offers to control Light/Blinds/Shutters, Temperature and Access.

The business has a turnover of around €80m, and employs roughly 350 employees, at 2 major manufacturing sites; in Plymouth, UK and Nuremberg, Germany, and has a strong drive towards digitization of the business, portfolio and channel.

Your mission:

·
Carry out product-testing to demonstrate compliance to RED/EMCD/LVD directives

·
Draft and detail test and validation specifications and plans

·
Design hardware test platforms for device validation

·
Write test program software

·
Liaise with wider engineering teams to fulfil test requests

·
Follow processes, procedures, and guidelines; identify improvement opportunities

About you:

·
You need to have a sound understanding of programming and operating the NI LabVIEW environment.

·
You must have a Degree in an engineering discipline, with some industry experience

·
You need to have knowledge of CE compliance tests – EN 60730 / EN 300 328 / EN 301 489

·
A sound understanding of device development and test cycle

·
A good understanding of electrical circuits and embedded systems

·
You must have a strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

·
A positive and enthusiastic attitude to learning and growing with the company
