Job description



Overview

· Provide expert pre-sales support to the sales force on specific Lines of Business of the EcoBuilding portfolio, and related architectures/applications
· Take the requirements and constraints of the customer into account, assist customer in the definition of the best implementation (valid, optimized and differentiating) of the of the defined architecture
· Create value and differentiation by providing system & architecture pre-sales expertise to both end users and integration partners, where relevant (pre-project consultation, feasibility study, audit…)
· Bring to Line of Business the voice of customer and technical evaluation of customer needs by segment, in order to make offer roadmap more attractive and differentiating
· Support on cross-selling with PP/Retail/BU/segment, demand generation vs hit rate.

Pre-sales support to System Integrator

· Visit customers (EUs and associated consultants, contractors, SIs) together with the sales force or following their requests. Introduce and promote the EcoBuilding solution and in particular the value proposition of the Line of Business-centric architecture, with the aim to secure the specification favorable to SE on a project by project basis.
· Coordinate with SI sales to ensure quotation is technically sound and viable during the lifecycle of the facility. Help select the right offers to provide the most competitive offer and reduce the technical risks.

Application support

· Build proof of concept (POC) to conquer a new account and/or to capture an additional share of business. Build and animate demos to develop customer's confidence. Within the requirements and constraints of the functionalities of the solution/application under scrutiny, recommend and develop a competitive architecture (i.e. customized architectures) and recommend system implementation which optimally meets the customer needs & requirements.
· Answer deep technical questions on integration/compatibility of components inside an architecture. Lead in system configuration and check.

Customer Proposal and Presentation

· Required to articulate the customer key business requirements into functional specifications and derived the associated BOM, effort requirements and clearly/concisely document the results into professional proposal presentation. This may also require developing the business value and ROI of the proposed solution.

Qualifications:



·  Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
·  Minimum of four(4) years experience specializing in Engineering - Electrical or in the related field; Good knowledge of Motor control, protection and its related auxiliary components.
·  Good understanding of local market - customers, suppliers, competitors and market developments, technology trend; Good command of spoken and written English.
