What is the role?

Based in Sydney or Adelaide , reporting to the Planning Manager you will play a pivotal role in supporting business growth and profitability in the Pacific zone. As a Network Supply Planner your role will be a combination of supply planning operations and projects. The team is responsible for the logistics of finished goods in the Pacific Zone, you will be expected to explore and identify issues and opportunities within the areas of planning responsibility.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to;

· Support in improving supply planning and S&OP for Pacific Region, guaranteeing business orientation and customer centricity;
· Priority focus on: stocking policy / end to end lead time acceleration / digitization acceleration / integration with network modelling;
· Support the supply chain team in achieving inventory and service level ambitions by optimizing parameters, operations and working with the business;
· Define and implement clear roadmap and controls pertaining to reduction of inventory excesses and provision;
· Demand Replenishment Plan and Vendor Supply Commitment follow up with key suppliers to deliver improvement of the forecast accuracy to vendors and ensuring commitment for our customers;
· Manage product lifecycle to support stock availability for new product introductions and manage withdrawal of discontinued products to mitigate scrap risk;
· Partnership with demand planning team, factories and vendors, central planning and procurement;
· Drive actions towards end to end lead time reduction.

· Minimum 3 years' experience in supply chain within a large complex multi-site, high reference organization;
· Tertiary qualification in Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics or equivalent with APICS - a Masters or Engineering degree will be highly regarded;
· Highly developed communication skills (both written and verbal) coupled with strong stakeholder management and engagement skills;
· Strong influencing and negotiating skills to be able to convince a broad range of stakeholders;
· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to handle large amounts of data
· Highly proficient in the advanced use of Excel (analytics);
· Experience in ERP supply chain modules - knowledge of SAP (MRP modules) is highly regarded;
· Ability to manage time and maintain high levels of energy in a fast paced environment;
· Customer centric, collaborative and results oriented;
· Strong desire to build a long-term career by learning and developing technical knowledge and skills.
