Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our Corporate M&A Team as a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate in London.

Your mission:

In this position, you will have the opportunity to participate in all stages of corporate transactions globally, including acquisitions, divestments and joint ventures. The position will be based in our London offices and will involve some international travel.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Participation in transaction execution, including financial modelling and valuation, support of due diligence processes, coordination with internal and external partners/advisers, preparation of presentation materials, support of senior team members in transaction structuring and negotiation

Some support of the M&A Team's internal activities such as pipeline management, transaction KPIs, valuation statistics, competitive intelligence and benchmarking

About you:

We are looking for a talented professional with approximately 2-3 years of M&A experience gained in a large investment bank or a strong smaller M&A advisory firm.

You should possess the following:

· A Master's degree from a leading university or business school with focus on management or finance;

· Outstanding analytical skills;

· Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting;

· Extensive experience in financial analysis and modelling;

· Strong experience in executing large M&A transactions, including due diligence and company valuation;

· Comfortable in a highly demanding, project-driven work environment with tight/changing deadlines;

· Ability to work on several transactions/projects in parallel

· International mindset and experience

· You must be fluent in English written and spoken. Skills in further languages are considered a plus

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface directly with senior executives.
