Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer

Job description

Identify improvement opportunities and help drive the to completion.

- Maintain and improve the quality system in the assigned area. Includes Document control & training.

- Assist in maintenance of ISO Quality Management system through product and process audits.

- Assist in quality training of production personnel

- Maintain quality procedures in conjunction with set-up inspections including updating as part and process changes

occur.

- Communicate directly with internal customers on quality issues

- Works closely with Manufacturing Engineers & Supervisors &Teamleaders

- Work closely with Continuous Engineering , Supplier Quality and Tool supervisor on product quality matters.

- Communicates directly with production personnel on matters of training, auditing and first piece.

- Active member of the SIM process team.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

University degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Master Degree

-2-5 years experience in quality engineering, quality assurance or similar role

-Knowledge about production technologies, quality tools and processes

-Good command of MS Office applications and Statistical Analyze Tools

-Good communication and planning skills, analytical thinking capability, decision making and problem solving ability,

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good project management skills
-Fluency in English and French
