Shipping Execution & Customs Specialist

Job description

- Well manage on shipping and customs clearance in order to make sure the shipment arrival on time in full and totally under control. Identify and good management on HS code in order to avoid tax retrieve after that. Make sure BOL and update on LA/AB in SAP more accuracy.

- Involves close collaboration with Order Management, Project Fulfillment, Regional Logistics, Sales & Services, Distributors and Customers, 3rd party service providers.

- Key activities include but not limited to monitoring of weekly KPI, prioritize urgent orders, manage inventory accuracy for FG and service parts within the warehouse, local transport arrangement and coordinate on-site delivery – through 3rd party service providers. Liaise with related parties on any service quality failures. It is also paramount to ensure proper filing of shipping documents.

1. Back-to-Back Shipping Execution

· Work with Order Management, regional Logistics for inbound tracking and delivery.

· Monitor shipment from ASD/Hub Asia to Local Entity, monitor crossdock delivery execution for orders to distributors and project delivery per schedule from project team.

· SAP Transaction – monitor 3PL execution and provide support when required.

· Monitor intransit aging

· Provide ETA to customers inquiry and follow through on actual delivery

2. Logistics/Freight/Customs Coordination

· Responsible for importation & custom clearance through 3rd party service

· Coordinate with 3rd party to pick release and ship the orders

· Coordinate with service team for startup form of project order and closing order in SAP

· Work closely with Regional transportation Analyst and liase with insurance agent on any damage claim

· Work closely with Regional custom, duty and tax team on matters related to duty, tax and legal related issues

· Liase with related government agencies when any such requirement arise

3. Business Process Compliance & Imrovement

· Comply wih company policies & procedures and audit requirements.

· Comply and Maintain Supply Chain key performance & On Time Delivery metrics at all time.

· Weekly KPI review with 3PL

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Education:

University degrees – Business Administration/Foreign Trade or Logistics relevant discipline

Working Experience:

3 years experience in similar capacity and working experience

Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills) :

Ability to manage 3PL service provider on day to day operations

Ability to adapt in a dynamic changing environment and handle stress

Competency of Microsoft Word and Excel

Proficient in English, both speaking and writing skills

Good communication skills with the ability to interface with all organizational levels

Knowledge and experience using the SAP is an advantage

Experience within a Manufacturing/Logistics environment is an advantage

Exposure working in MNCs is an advantage

Willingness to take responsibility and ownership

Ability to prioritize with sense of urgency

Ability to work as a team
