Control & Signaling Line of Business (Industry BU) is, with more than 400 million euros sales in 2015, the worldwide leader of products and solutions for industrial control, with a catalogue including industrial push buttons and switches, light towers, hoisting control systems, industrial joysticks and wireless remote control systems.

Within the R&D department of the Control & Signaling Line of Business (Industry BU), you take part to the development of products and solutions for Industrial Automation for the worldwide market.

Integrated in an international team passionate of innovation, you are in relationship with the Marketing, Industrialisation, Manufacturing, Quality, Laboratories teams, as well as with the manufacturing facilities and external partners.

The internship is based on modelling and simulating a configuration of high number (90+) of transceivers / receivers in a defined area (ex: 100m*100m).These devices are communicating wirelessly according to the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol. The candidate should be able to develop a simulator to evaluate the system performance of several configurations. A real environment conditions (noise, fading, shadowing, …) should be taken into consideration as well.

Degree:
· Last year of Engineering Degree, master level
· Speciality: wireless communication / computer science / electronics & electrical engineering
