ASCO Power Technologies, an industry leader in the manufacturing of Automatic Transfer Switches, Industrial Control Products, Load Banks, Power Control Systems, Services and Solutions, has an exciting career opportunity for an Inside Sales Support Representative based out of Cleveland, Ohio .

Responsibilities Overview:

Provides inside sales support to assigned territories. Provide sales support in response to customer inquiry either electronically or via the telephone in an effort to build strong relationships, loyalty and retention through exceptional sales/service and the presentation, awareness and understanding of the company's active product portfolio.

Detailed Responsibilities:

· Answer customers' technical and financial questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms to process orders and resolve customer issues.

· Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications.

· Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.

· Maintain customer records, using automated systems, including monitoring contract expirations and generating renewal proposals.

· Assist in the preparation of sales contracts and submit orders for processing.

· Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.

· Collaborate with outside sales force to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information to proactively increase market share.

· Assist with inventory management based on customer needs

· Identity ways to improve productivity and safety.

· Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

· Minimum 2-year associate degree (in a technical field preferred); or 3 years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Strong computer proficiency

· Understanding of and demonstrated ability to apply value pricing principles to optimize profitability

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, professional telephone etiquette as well as assertive and goal-oriented

· Familiar with bills of materials and shop orders

· Excellent time management and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

· Strong team player in a fast pace selling environment

· Aggressive, goal oriented self-driver with strong work ethic
