We currently have vacancy for a Business Analyst to be based at our office in Milton Keynes and to join our well-established Scrum team.

Your Mission:

You will be based at our Milton Keynes office reporting to our Head of Strategic Change Delivery.You will help drive transformation on our digital journey. You will be a key team member working on Agile software delivery projects utilising the Scrum framework and as a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for aiding delivery of high-quality work that meets the needs of our customers.

You will work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to help deliver an accurate understanding of requirements. This will require influencing and negotiating skills as well as a willingness to work with all levels of the organisation.

You will contribute in a proactive and open-minded manner, while helping and working with all participants to ensure high-performing delivery teams. Your versatility will be valued in being able to perform other team tasks that may be required in order to achieve overall success.

Some Key Areas of Your Responsibilites:

Ability to work with the Agile tool, Azure DevOps (prior knowledge preferred) to create and track requirements and work delivery

Business Analysis – understand and breakdown of incoming requests through skilled analysis leading to defined user stories

Process analysis - review process designs, identify the weakness in them and determine the optimal means of fulfilling the desired outcomes

Value Definition – work collaboratively with the Product Owner, team members and stakeholder/executives to define and understand requirements and the value thereof

Reporting - create dashboards and charts in Azure DevOps

User Stories – write-up of requirements in User Story format

Requirements Structure – grasp agile concepts and can explain the levels and relationships between epics, features, user stories and tasks

Requirements definition - succinctly and clearly translate conceptual requirements into a detailed series of requirements, reflecting the stated needs, that can be both developed and tested

Backlog Management – understand the concept of Product Backlogs and can manage them well, with the ability to explain comparative value

Risk analysis – adept at assessment and risk analysis in line with regulations/standards/requirements in development and future operations

About You:

We are looking for a talented individual who posses high work ethic and is able to work effectively in a complex work framework. You will have previous experience working as a Business Analyst in the Scrum framework. You must be able to work in our Milton Keynes office.
