Job description



The ACFM assists the Critical Facility Manager (CFM) in managing technical and administrative functions for a team of technicians that are engaged in mission critical facility infrastructure systems Operations and Maintenance (O&M). The individual possesses a high level of technical knowledge in performing Class A building and critical data center maintenance, repairs and emergency service on state-of-the-art critical support systems and has been able to demonstrate such capabilities. Duties include the performance of daily inspections, preparation of logs, supervision of vendor/contractor activities and assistance in performing technical training for the operations team. The ACFM possesses a high level of system knowledge to be able to perform routine and emergency service on state-of-the-art critical support systems (e.g. electrical switchgear, diesel generators, HVAC/CRAC systems, UPS systems, PDUs, RPPs, BMS systems, fire alarm and suppression systems). The ACFM audits maintenance records, assists in the development of maintenance programs, and assists in dispatching service operations staff and subcontractors for scheduled customer site maintenance and emergency response. The ACFM provides technical support to the Customer’s system emergencies. The ACFM also develops reviews, modifies, and implements Methods of Procedure (MOP’s) and adheres to strict guidelines of approved MOPs for preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance. The associated responsibilities include creating, updating, and monitoring Service Tickets to ensure all maintenance documents are received and filed. The ACFM interfaces with service management to ensure that a high level of service is maintained.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

-At least three years of facility operations and maintenance experience.

-Experience supervising a technical staff.
-Technical knowledge of electrical distribution and emergency/standby power systems, HVAC systems, fire detection/suppression or monitoring/control systems.
-Very good verbal and written communications skills.
-Familiarity with computers and computer networking.
-Proficiency in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook
