Qualifications :

JOB SUMMARY :

Work within an assigned geographical territory to develop long-term relationships with electrical distributors and Siemens Sales Engineers. Provide product expertise and technical assistance on the Siemens product line to all levels within the sales channel and prepare quotes and sales proposals. Work as a team with the Siemens Account Manager and factory based sales support team to grow and hit targeted sales growth within the assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•Proactive selling, fact finding, and marketing with key distributors

•Sales and technical assistance to Siemens Sales Engineers and distributors

•Troubleshoot with end-users, Contractors, Distributors, Siemens personnel

•Project follow up and assistance through completion with Siemens Sales Engineers and Distributors

•Daily relationship building with Siemens Sales Engineers and Distributors

•Generate custom proposals for Distributors

•Prepare quotes and submittals

•Faithfully conduct follow-ups of quoted projects

•Promote holistic surge protection solutions that include recommending Siemens and/or ASCO branded surge protectors

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :

•Minimum two years sales experience including both inbound and outbound calls

•Minimum 2 years technical customer service experience

•2 Year degree preferred
