Schindler’s New Technologies team explores and investigates solutions for tomorrow’s mobility needs. And we need you as Technology Scout to assess latest digital technologies.

The work location is either Ebikon or Lausanne, depending on the candidate’s preferences.

In this position you screen, analyse and prototype new and innovative technologies for their application in the elevator and escalator business.

You will mainly be responsible for the following tasks:

Screening, analysis and prototyping of new technologies
Technology fields of expertise: Digital Technologies (SW&HW), Electronics, Sensorics, Mobile, Machine Learning.
Project lead and coordination of external technology companies and universities

Mobility needs you

You are a curious and driven graduate in Electrical Engineering or Information Technologies which understands new topics quickly. Furthermore, you are highly motivated to drive innovation topics forward and keen to work as Project Lead with external technology companies and universities. You possess solid SW development and programming skills and have strong knowledge in latest digital technologies as well machine learning. In addition, you have strong communication skills.

Moreover, you possess the following qualifications:

Master or PhD. preferably in Electrical Engineering or Information Technologies
Fluent in English, any other language is a plus (German, French or Chinese)
