We are currently recruiting for a System Engineer to support our client who specialises in the design and manufacture of equipment, electrical and electronic systems for rolling stock equipment and railway signalling.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Define, specify, analyse and develop group signalling systems;
Perform integration and test activities;
Carry out tenders and local or international projects;
Take part in new product developments;
Manage the traceability of functional specifications;
Make improvements to the specifications according to the new specified needs;
Design system evolutions (mainly in term of maintenance and implementation of a new line);
You will also work in collaboration with our client’s Test, RAM, Safety and Homologation teams.
You may also sometimes use your technical knowledge to support new and “must win” tenders, applying the relevant engineering processes
Engineering graduate (bac+ 4 or bac +5) in Electronics, Automatics, Computer Science, and/or telecom.
You have an interest in system engineering and the rail field
3-10 years’ experience in vital railways or aerospace system (from system specification and design up to Test & Commissioning and maintenance) is an asset.
Good French & English oral & written expression. Fluency in other languages is desirable.
Good general technical background.
