For a new project starting in the Heart of Europe - Brussels city centre, Scalian is recruiting new passionate talents with interest in complex digital systems and architecture integration.

Job description
As a SW tester, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
• Specify, design, develop and validate test environment & tools (test bench, recording tools, simulated I/O ...)
• Specify and design test plans and cases according to the SIL level of the product
• Estimate workload, contribute to scheduling and follow-up of validation activities
• Perform testing of SW modules (including unit tests)
• Apply SW processes & standards required for SW testing
• Contribute to the elaboration of SW specification & architecture
• Identify design issues and propose solutions
• Ensure test traceability

Knowledge & Experience
• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• from 1 to 5 years of experience working as a test engineer
• knowledge of the V-model
• Experience with safety critical embedded systems is an asset
• Knowledge of DO178/MILSTD is a plus
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Coding skills: C, C# and LabVIEW
• Testing tools: RT/RT or equivalent ; SCADE
