Within SAP the Business Innovation & Technology (BI&T) organization as internal IT department we would like to CHANGE and SERVE. While being responsible for executing SAP's IT strategy, we do also support SAP's overall strategy.

We as team “Corporate Finance IT” are focused on respective Finance process areas and do team up within IT with other teams and processes and of course with our end-users.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Our Corporate Finance IT team is looking for a new team member with good programming and ABAP coding expertise. The key responsibilities will be:

·  Establish a trusted partnership with our business counterparts and act as “ONE TEAM” from strategy to execution
·  be part of an agile scrum team, assume responsibility for tasks and complete them end-to-end with the best quality and user experience
·  Design and implement new solutions using SAP's latest Cloud and Platform technologies
·  Drive innovation and early adoption of new technologies and solutions in close cooperation with our Development areas and other teams within BI&T

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

·  Deep understanding of Finance processes and solutions e.g. Accounting, Consolidation, Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Central Finance etc.
·  Deep understanding in Finance Implementations projects considering Corporate Organizations, Business Interactions and negotiations and process and technical localization actions
·  Deep understanding of Architecture, System Conversion and Migration Scenarios plus System Conversions, System upgrades, Landscape Transformations, Carve Outs
·  Good Knowledge and skills in area of ABAP programming, interfaces (RFC, ALE, iDoc scenarios)
·  Good understanding of Order and Billing and Revenue Accounting processes is appreciated
·  Good understanding in supporting end-user from technical and business process perspective
·  Interested and able to work in virtual and international teams and act as “teamplayer”

Required skills:

·  Academic degree in business management and/or information technology
·  Very good architectural, business process and solution knowledge / experience within SAP ERP applications
·  Excellent problem solving and communication skills (also with C-Level)
·  Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects within given deadlines in a complex environment
·  Fluent in English, German optional

Preferred skills:

·  Experience and Deep understanding of Finance business processes and activities
·  Background in supporting end-user from technical and business process perspective
·  Proven track record of success on strategic and operational projects & programs

WORK EXPERIENCE

·  Ideally 1 – 3 years of working experience or experience through internships, working student employments or first full-time jobs
·  Ability to work well in an international, virtual and highly diverse team as well as independently and have a positive self-motivated can-do attitude
·  Experience working in an Agile development environment, preferably SCRUM
·  Strong analytical skills and ability to think in a complex and rapidly changing environment
