Sterile Production Pharmacist

Job description

Job Purpose:

This is a challenging position in the plant, which gives me the opportunity to be responsible for organizing the production sequences to convert raw materials into healthy semi-finished product until it is ready to be delivered to the end user in the perfect form with high quality.

Job Responsibilities

1- To receive the production control voucher through SAP’s system according to production plan and pass it to pharma plant stores to withdraw materials.

2- To receive the released raw & auxiliary materials and primary packaging materials and to check it accordingly to batch manufacturing records for potency, expiry date, code no., concentration and batch no.

3- To prepare the calculation sheet for the product according to the potency, concentration and validity period and to prepare the labels for production steps.

4- To check for the cleaning, disinfecting and clearance of machine, utensils areas and the environmental data according to SOP’s system approved by the Q.A.

5- To monitor the environmental conditions inside the sterile filling area concerning the differential pressure of air, humidity, temperature, velocity, viable counts to match the global quality standards. 

6- To perform & issue sterilization charts and records.

7 - To perform integrity testing of air and water filters.

8 - To follow up the temperature of the semi-finished store and deal with its deviations and record print out for each storage day.

9 - To follow up the temperature of the semi-finished store and deal with its deviations.

10 - To follow up the preparation of disinfectants and its filtration as sterile solution for disinfection purpose.

11 - To supervise all the packaging purpose for all AB batches to deliver them in time and follow up all the tender batches to satisfy customer need.

Job Holder Entry Requirements:

·  Education:  Bachelor of Pharmaceutical sciences.
·  2-5 years of related Experience
·  Special Knowledge/Skills:
·  Good knowledge in pharmaceutical manufacturing in sterile Areas (Ampoule & Vials) is preferable.
·  Problem solving Skills.
·  Decision making Skills.
·  Communication Skills.
·  Good command of English language.
·  Good in Computer.
