Description:

A Postdoctoral Fellowship is open in the area of Vaccine Development at Sanofi Pasteur. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will focus on isolating and characterizing neutralizing monoclonal antibodies to support vaccine discovery and development, helping to define ideal targets for immunogen design. Being a member of an innovative team, the candidate will conduct research for discovering antibodies with protective functions that potentially serve as biomarkers to guide vaccine design. The candidate will work with human specimens and perform antibody cloning and characterizations, including potency measures, epitope mapping and structural-functional analysis.

Basic Qualifications :

·  PhD/MD in relevant field from an accredited university
·  Must have US work authorization
·  Experience in flow cytometry and FACs
·  Experience in B-cell immunology and cloning
·  Experience in biochemical assay development (Octet, ELISA, Western, protein purification)
·  Ability to work in BL2+ environment with potentially infectious biological samples
·  Experience in virology and tissue culture a plus
·  Ability to work in BL2+ environment with potentially infectious biological samples

Preferred Qualifications :

·  Experience in virology and tissue culture a plus
·  Strong publication record
·  Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
·  Demonstrated leadership skills
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Desire to work within a team environment
