About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Advisor to be based in our Swedish Office. This position will provide medical and scientific (non-promotional) expertise and service for the Sanofi Genzyme's new immunological molecule Dupilumab and to develop and maintain relationships with the therapy area experts and other relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

·  Provide medical and scientific (non-promotional) expertise and service for the Sanofi Genzyme Immunology therapy area (TA) team, and to develop and maintain relationships with the TA experts and other relevant stakeholders;
·  Identify, develop and maintain collaboration with current and future KOLs within the TA;
·  Identify and interact with other local opinion leaders and HCPs to help generate understanding of the TA portfolio and when relevant guide them on the optimal use of our products;
·  Lead local advisory boards, scientific projects and other relevant activities with the HCPs;
·  Conduct medical training adapted to internal (employee education) as well as external needs (doctors, other specialists etc.);
·  Participate in relevant congresses, symposium and other meetings and provide feedback to the rest of the organization. Provide support for the Market Access process in medical/scientific matters. Be of assistance to the PV, regulatory and other relevant functions regarding medical questions related to the TA;
·  Participate in budgeting and strategy planning in the scope of the area. Work closely with and support marketing and sales both strategically and at an operational level. Liaise with medical colleges within the whole NOBA, by sharing best practice and knowledge;
·  Implement actions in the TA as planned in the strategy and business aligned medical plan. Ensure to be updated on the latest scientific information concerning the TA;
·  Identify, support and maintain Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS). Keeping up-to-date with the relevant clinical activities and support and facilitate desired clinical trials;
·  Based on ethical and legal standards review scientific and external communication material, (including eventual marketing material), for medical and scientific accuracy. Support Country Medical Lead (SGZ) in TA-related scientific/medical matters when applicable;
·  Ensure that all activities and interactions comply with Sanofi business quality documents.

About You

Experience:

·  Immunology TA experience either from the studies/research and/or preferably from the pharma industry with relevant customer knowledge;
·  Ideally previous launch experience with successful relationship building;
·  Chairing advisory boards and other cooperation with HCPs;
·  Working in a cross-functional team in an international environment;
·  Job requires university degree in medicine, pharmacy or related biomedical area;
·  Excellent command of English both written and oral as well as fluent Swedish.

Ability to:

·  Effectively engage with key external stakeholders and build long-term relationships;
·  Use scientific and clinical knowledge to input to launch strategy on evidence needs for stakeholder including patients;
·  Analyze information and emerging trends, including social, policy and access-related information, and incorporate them into medical plans;
·  Develop scientific communication and education initiatives using scientific/medical expertise, customer insights and understanding of launch strategy;
·  Lead task forces or target oriented work groups;
·  Self-dependent and structured working style, yet able to work in a team;
·  Plan, prioritize and implement actions – project management;
·  Communicate, collaborate and influence with excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills, both internally and externally – especially in communication with medical authorities, hospitals, physicians/specialists, KOLS and pharmacists;
·  Train and educate internal and external stakeholders;
·  Search and analyze scientific publications.
