Job description



The Manager Training Systems reports to the Director of VIA Training & Education and is responsible for oversight of Sanofi Pasteur's Learning Management System (LMS), elearning development software and supporting tools for the Swiftwater PA site.

The integrity of the LMS and the data in the system is critical to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is responsible to develop policies and procedures to assure standards and controls are met; monitor the systems, troubleshoot and work with ITS and vendors to assure all issues are corrected. The position collaborates with Global Information Technical Support and Global Quality to implement and validate upgrades and enhancements.

Over site of Swiftwater Site Global Learning Management System

·  Supports Global IT and Global Quality on the management and maintenance of the Swiftwater Site validated LMS.
·  Participates in system quarterly upgrades, assists with script writing and testing of system functionality (PQ).
·  Monitor interfaces and trouble shoot problems with other systems such as Workday and the Document Management system.
·  Work directly with vendor to investigate and resolve deviations and questions.
·  Maintains procedures and instructions for the system.
·  Drive continuous improvement and ways to go paperless and create digital/electronic forms.
·  Reduce the paper footprint; look at options to scan and store documents off site.
·  Manage the paper files process and file rooms to reduce the paper maintained on site. Adhere to the retention policy for documentation on site.

eLearning Tools and Development

·  Analyze and maintain Via Training & Education license of elearning tools to develop elearning training.
·  Review software enhancement and new versions of elearning software to maintain software updates as needed

Budget

·  Manage budget for e-learning software licenses in the VIA Training Team.
·  Manage upgrade expenses incurred for iLearn.
·  Manage expenses in accordance with VIA Training budget.

Collaboration & Communication

·  Participate on the Global One LMS Project for Swiftwater to evaluate LMS functionality and Service Model; assist in validation activities and migration plan.
·  Serve as Swiftwater Representative on the Global Quality One LMS Team.
·  Drive the evaluation and prepare for implementation of One LMS at Swiftwater site.
·  Partner with VIA Training Department to continuously improve the site LMS/OJT training processes and effectiveness.
·  Manage and update the Swiftwater VIA Training & Education SharePoint site.
·  Communicating decisions/changes to stakeholders, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

·  BS in Information Technology or Learning Technology
·  Minimum of 3 years of training/education experience in a manufacturing and operations environment, cGMP regulated environment with knowledge and experience in biotech/pharmaceutical regulatory industry.
·  Minimum 3 years' experience & detailed knowledge and use of Learning Management Systems for a regulated industry
·  Experience working collaboratively with colleagues on multi-faceted projects
·  Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel
·  Experience with system upgrades, writing test scripts and administering testing for upgrade.

Preferred Qualifications

·  Experience developing e-Learning Content with authoring tools such as Captivate, Lectora, Articulate Storyline and SCORM Packaging for LMS.
·  Experience implementing and/or upgrading a LMS
