Sanofi Consumer Healthcare US (formerly Chattem) is a leading marketer and manufacturer of a broad portfolio of branded over-the-counter (OTC) healthcare products, in such categories as allergy, upper and lower gastrointestinal, skin care, topical pain care, oral care and other OTC products.  The US CHC portfolio includes well-recognized brands such as: Allegra, Nasacort, Xyzal, Dulcolax, Gold Bond, Cortizone-10, Icy Hot, Aspercreme, Rolaids, ACT, Unisom, and Selsun Blue.

Job overview

The EM Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing demand forecasts, actual customer sales orders and current inventory levels for externally manufactured SKUs. They must provide 12-month rolling forecasts to Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO) and communicate regularly to ensure timely orders and risk mitigate potential out of stock situations.

Responsibilities

·  Review and analyze demand forecast to provide CMOs updated monthly production and capacity requirements by item
·  Submit and manage purchase orders to ensure on time delivery and prevent stock outs
·  Analyze inventory levels, planned production and sales and coordinate Inventory to ensure availability of Finished Goods with optimum stock levels
·  Maintain professional relationship with CMOs through regular calls to ensure they are meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On Time In Full (OTIF) and Case Fill
·  Support the operational coordination of new product launches in cooperation with Procurement and Project Management
·  Coordinate material transfers with transportation to pick up finished goods at CMO
·  Participate in monthly S&OP meetings with Demand Planning and Marketing
·  Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s Degree
·  Proficient in PC skills, especially MS Office
·  Good data analytics capabilities as well as prioritization and time management skills
·  Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
·  Good communication, negotiation and influencing skills with Internal and External Partners

Preferred Qualifications

·  Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Consumer Packaged Goods/Over-The-Counter (CPG/OTC) Supply chain or Materials Management preferred 
·  Knowledge of JD Edwards or SAP systems preferred, or other ERP system. 
·  Knowledge of Material Planning System (MPS), Inventory Management, Manufacturing processes and principles like CMO, forecast accuracy, OTIF, etc.
