We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:
Product Manager
- VIE Contract (W/M)
Responsibilities:
VIE will provide support in:
Driving genuine product projects
- Creation of project definition and business cases for strategic roadmap projects
- Engagement of category managers, Consumer & Market Insights (CMI), regulatory and medical affairs teams
- Effective engagement with regional and global stakeholders in the development phase of New Product Development (reformulation, external manufacturer engagement, regulatory assessment etc.)
- Proactively seek new opportunities, analyse them in conjunction with relevant stakeholder input
Strategy & planning
- Support the development of strategic roadmaps which will guide idea development and prioritization
- Support CMI and ideation activities and where appropriate participate in external Key Opinion Leader & advisor networking activities
- Proactively seek and identify compelling consumer insights, market trends and trends in international & domestic markets
Development & activation of brand plans
- Development of strategic roadmaps (idea development and prioritization)
- Implementation of global strategies and development of local strategies reflecting local insights
- Drive excellence in execution for category initative in accordance with strategies
- Support the execution of campaigns (digital campaigns, track ongoing performance and corrective actions)
Additionally
- Manage relationships with external partners & agencies, research, design, medical marketing
- Manage key strategic and executional marketing projects (digital, communication, CMI and analysis)
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications
- Master degree in Marketing, Business, Management or related field
- At least 2 years of marketing, innovation or project management experience
- Fluent English. Mandarin highly preferred
Desired Skills and Experience
- Demonstrate effective application of market research principles, techniques and data
- Working or theoretical knowledge of market segmentation, targeting, brand positioning and architecture
- Ability to provide balanced, directional feedback to agencies and internal stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes
- Project Management or Marketing skills or/and experience in CHC or FMCG
- Understand financial principles and utilization to make sound business recommendations
- Manage multiple priorities as needed, on time and to budget
- Project champion who can lead all relevant parties cross-functionally, with flawless execution
- Excellent planning, time management, communication, influencing, negotiation and presentation skills
