JOB PURPOSE:
- Contribute to GBU Vaccines Northe Africa strategy by providing financial insight and guidance
- Contribute to the achievement of GBU Vaccines objectives in North Africa as approved in the plan and the budget
- Provide financial expertise and administrative support to the GBU Vaccines team in French Speaking North Africa
- Guarantee the high quality of reporting and financial statements and compliance with local legislation and Sanofi procedures and régulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Forecasts and monthly trends :
- Organize and coordinate the budget and forecasts processes
- Collect and consolidate the financial data and validate forecasts assumptions and hypothesis
- Submit the forecasts and the monthly trends in group tools
- Share the validated budgets with the team
- Monthly closing & Reporting:
- Set up a monthly local closing planning and respect the group deadlines of reporting
- Coordinate the monthly closing process with Sanofi Pharma, Zone and Corporate team
- Calculate and validate the monthly accruals
- Review and validate the analytical balances
- Coordinate the reporting in Sanofi’s tools
- Estimate a monthly landing and communicate it to the cluster & region
- Performance review :
- Contribute to provide monthly dashboards and KPI
- Analyze and comment the monthly results
- Make a deep analysis of commercial conditions and their impact on the PL and share with the team
- Alert the Management on the variances vs budget and major positive or negative impact on the PL
- Make suggestions to improve the French Speaking North Africa’s financial performance
- Assist the teams in the monitoring of receivables, DSO and stocks by country.
- Budget control :
- Coordinate the budget control and Opex monitoring with all departments
- Perform analysis of Opex by country, nature and department and share it with relevant stakeholders
- Guarantee the respect of AED process and the delegation of authority
- Provide the teams with profitability analysis and “spend better” initiatives
- Guarantee the right allocation of expenses by nature, cost center and department
- Communicate to the team a periodic expense reports
- Audit, Compliance & Internal control :
- Follow the internal audit recommendations and their implementation
- Guarantee the implementation and respect of Sanofi SOPs
- Alert the Management about any deviation and non-compliant operation
- Work in collaboration with Sanofi Internal Control department to ensure a compliant and efficient operational flow for GBU Vaccines processes. Recommend optimization actions as required.
- Ad hoc analysis :
- Support management for financial assessment and decision making on special project when applicable.
- Prepare all the financial analysis requested by Management
- Initiate benchmarking studies
- Provide Management with clear and accurate financial analysis
- Assist the medico, marketing and sales teams with projects profitability analysis and PL by project
Profil:
- Education:
- Bachelor of commerce, finance, accounting or controlling
- Related experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in a related position
- Skills :
- Fluent written and spoken French & English
- High analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent knowledge of computer skills (Microsoft Office tools, specific focus on advanced Excel, accounting and reporting tools : SAP, Hyperion, TM1)
- Other :
