The AD Patient Marketing – Retina will be a key member of the Retina launch team responsible for the co-development of patient marketing strategies, tactics and programs to drive patient awareness, activation and engagement for the brand.

• Co-creates patient marketing strategy with the optimal combination of messages, ed-ucation, and support delivered through the channels that best connect with the nAMD patient audience.
• Co-develop patient focused campaign messages, materials and support tools
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of the patient journey including needs, insights and the role of patient communications and support as a critical part of the overall brand communication and marketing mix strategy.
• Measures, evaluates, and adapts activities based on ongoing learning and assess-ment.
• Partners closely with the multi-channel marketer and media group to develop a digital strategy that recognizes the challenges and opportunities of connecting with the nAMD patient audience.
• Co-leads the external agency relationship to ensure alignment to strategy and delivery of high impact creative, copy and programs in a timely and compliant manner.
• Works cross functionally with other key partners and champions nAMD patient mar-keting initiatives with internal and external customers.
• Project manages key elements of the tactical launch plan to ensure timely execution of all deliverables.
• Monitors key performance metrics and recommends adjustment to strategy/tactics as needed

Minimum requirements

Ideal Background:
The applicant must possess a high level of analytical and conceptual ability in order to pro-vide strategic focus and demonstrate a proven track record of strong execution and results. The ideal candidate will be proficient at uncovering customer based insights and leveraging this knowledge to drive the nAMD patient strategy and tactical plan. Additional require-ments include the ability to peer-lead and manage cross-functional teams and multiple vendors.

Education (minimum):
• Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Business related disci-pline). MBA or related Master’s Degree preferred

Language: fluent in English

Experience:
• 4 - 6 years of pharma or healthcare experience required
• 3+ years of pharma US operational marketing experience with focus on product/brand management including
• Previous experience in the Ophthalmology therapeutic area or equivalent medical specialty including knowledge of key stakeholders, patient journey and continuum of care highly preferred.
• Developed new campaigns and programs through all stages from concept to implementation preferred
• Have worked in cross functional, matrixed environments with demonstrated success in delivering results through collaboration
• Led relationships and provided clear direction to external agency partners
• Excellent business/commercial acumen
• Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnosis business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans to achieve business results in a self-directed manner.
• Experience in establishing and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and influencers.
• Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal and presentations), time management, planning, project management, organizational and negotiation skills.
• Travel: 15-30%
