HSE&BCM (Health Safety Environment & Business Continuity Management) Oversee implementation of elements of an effective HSE&BCM management systems. Leadership actions are expected. Leadership • Work with the Global HSE&BCM function to develop strategy and oversee the implementation at Sites, Countries or Clusters. Implementation and Operations • Ensures that systems are in place to demonstrate and verify compliance with all HSE&BCM regulatory requirements, other externally driven requirements and conformance to all Novartis HSE&BCM Standards. • Ownership in the implementation of one of the key projects of HSE&BCM at his/her level (risk assessment, Be Healthy, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, BCM, etc.). • Monitor the HSE&BCM Management System and supporting programs (e.g., Chemical Safety, Biosafety, Radiation Safety, Office Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Compliance, Occupational Health, Business Continuity, Novartis Emergency Management (NEM), and others). Raise the hand when actions are needed and propose and lead the action plan.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

Minimal requirement is a university degree (BS, MS/MA, PhD, MD). At a minimum, fluency (speaking and writing) in English required. Working knowledge of additional languages desirable (e.g. German, French. Spanish, Mandarin) - Max 3-5 years of experience - Global mindset and mobility during program and afterwards - Excellent communication skills and learning agility - Analytical skills - Interpersonal skills - Operational & project excellence - Stakeholder engagement - Managing change
