Job Purpose
Provide project support to Technical Product Lead. Enable achievement of Technical Development Plan through executing, monitoring and oversight of the implementation, tracking and reporting of projects/Change Controls and key cross functional department activities. Provide input to the overall project strategy by soliciting and using key input from SMEs. Act as PMO member of designated subteam(s), and serve as a liaison between the designated subteam and the TPL.
Major Activities
• Responsibility of coordination and delivery of projects in support of key cell and gene therapy development programs from planning through implementation.
• Support Technical Product Lead in creation and maintenance of Technical Development Plan
• Lead preparation and facilitation of designated sub-team meetings, inclusive of action follow up and follow through.
• Monitor development activities within subteam(s). Prioritize project activities within project subteam(s). Ensure alignment with functional groups in Morris Plains (RegCMC, Quality, Manufacturing, Development, IT, Supply Chain) to ensure a systematic alignment of tasks and priorities to the overall technical development plan.
• Oversight and authority for key developmental change controls, ensure thorough collaboration with the necessary Team lead that Change Controls are on time, reported and efficiently executed. Ensure resource availability and allocation through details project planning and progress tracking.
• Provide input to contracts and QA-agreements with 3rd parties and support outsourced tasks/projects with 3rd parties as appropriate.
• Support Technical Product Lead in project and process reporting (e.g. through compilation of reports or presentations) to various stakeholder groups. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques; manage risk through appropriate project risk management.

• Completion of action items in support of the technical development plan.
• Enables On time regulatory submissions with high document quality.
• Appropriately influence key functional leadership at the site to drive optimized outcomes for the organization.
• Demonstrates the ability to be a change agent and challenge the current status quo.
• Interprets complex internal/external business issues and recommend and lead solution implementation

Minimum requirements
Ideal Background
Education requirements: A minimum of BS in Biochemistry, Chemical or Biochemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or other Life Science-related field.
Experience / Professional Requirements: • 8+ years’ experience in diverse task involved with GMP operations (e.g. Production, Tech Transfer, Quality, Regulatory)
• 1+ years of Project management and change management experience
• Product Launch experience is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, focused with business awareness and hands on to navigate execution in a highly matrixed environment
Other Competencies:
• Full fluency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and be an excellent communicator.
• Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment is critical.
• Must be service-minded, flexible, and possess strong interpersonal skills with a high level of diplomacy and can-do attitude
• Capability to handle multiple conflicting tasks in a fast-paced environment is a must. Very high attention to detail is critical.
