Alcon is seeking a successful Professional Sales Associate, to listen, identify and achieve goals with Eye Care Practitioners, by presenting the best product solutions to address the needs of their customers, within their designated territory. Contacts potential customers, negotiates product formulary acceptance, and obtains contract commitments for the company's products. Develops and maintains contacts within the industry to provide information, remain abreast of competitors' activities, and/or gather information on specific laws or legislation. Works with state government, state pharmacy associations, state medical associations, and major employer officials, hospitals and physician clinics to increase sales in their segments of the market. Participates in efforts; sponsors seminars and continuing education programs and provides studies and product information to client base. Develops appropriate value-added programs for each account. Responsible for the sales growth in designated segments (e.g., managed healthcare, etc.). May call on and/or be responsible for national account within their region.

Manages experienced professionals (e.g., engineers, scientists, financial analysts) who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments. Often heads one or more sections or a small department. Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures that may affect sections and subordinate work units. Assignments are defined in terms of activities and objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Decisions have an impact on work processes and outcomes. Erroneous decisions or recommendations or failure to complete assignments normally result in serious delays and considerable expenditure of additional time, human resources, and funds. Interacts frequently with internal personnel and outside representatives at various levels. Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives. Interaction typically concerns resolution of operational and scheduling issues

2-3 years B2B Sales preferred

Any med device sales experience would be a plus

Will be selling out Specialty products-
Territory all of Vegas- some surrounding cities- S. Nevada- small territory
No overnights- only for sales meetings
