Position Purpose:
Accountable to maintain interface stability and quality between our global systems. Actively support overall activities of a high volume transaction, fast-paced organization. Guarantee process governance when implementing new process. Achieve operational excellence, while complying to Novartis standards. Strong collaboration with cross-functional groups, manufacturing and warehouse operations and provide excellent customer service against market strategies within the correct cost and time frames.

Major Accountabilities:
• Provide operational excellence by managing all inbound and outbound transactions into and out of worldwide APL inventory locations, including returns. To ensure the transactions are processed and synchronized in the various different systems
• Ensure advanced support analyzing and solving process and technical issues identified as Idocs errors in collaboration with global cross-functional groups providing timely resolutions and minimizing impact on affiliate/market
• Responsible of inventory reconciliation by supplying and analyzing data to ensure APL system and warehousing systems match in both value and volume. Identify root cause for any differences and support implementing fixes or process improvements
• Ensure supply chain and trading environment compliance with appropriate regulatory authorities and laws including customs, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Novartis Financial Controllers Manual (NFCM), etc. This includes the proper coordination, implementation and overseeing the execution of the required procedures
• Provide customer and operational excellence by actively supporting all product launches / extensions / discontinuations / special promotions
• Manage international orders for our affiliates and distributor markets, working closely with DC/ICDC, manufacturing plants and planning teams to ensure prompt responses and timely processing of orders to meet affiliate/market requirements

Minimum requirements

Your profile:
• Higher Education in Supply Chain or Business Administration with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience for large multi-national organizations
• Fluency in English essential. French and German is a plus
• Ability to drive for results and meet program and project deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills paired with a proactive and action-oriented attitude in driving projects
• Ability to think creatively and challenge status quo
