Sustaining activities includes BBT responses, WOW/Dogtool responses, Engineering tool requests, scrap resolutions and execution, quality and excursion prevention. Actions by shift engineers also includes coordinating and communicating with Leadership on equipment status and progress from plans, improving quals from pm to full release. CVD shift engineers provide front line support for excursion resolutions/TEM analysis requests/tool spread activities and emergency quality issues. This position rotates shift every 3 months from days to nights and back again Specific Job Duties: · Compliance with site safety procedures · Single point of contact for quality/tool/process issues on shift. · Responsible for BBT/Dog tool/Q code response for CVD. · Point of contact for escalation issues associated with excursions. · Scrap disputes and scrap determination or execution. · Execute plans requested by CVD engineers during weekends and holidays for data collection/tool spread. · Work with shift supervisors to develop consistent protocols across shift · Shift Improvement/Train through LEAN principles and project relations. · Prepare and train to become a future process /equipment engineer for CVD

Desired profile

Necessary Skills / Attributes
· B.S. in a related field/technology or Bachelors in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical engineering, Materials Science, or Hard Sciences preferred with 3+ years of experience preferred · Bronze Lean or Six Sigma certified a plus. · The individual selected for this position will have a proven track record of success with respect to work environment or expertise. · Able to adapt and learn new systems in an exceptional time basis. · Familiarity with basic chemical and mechanical engineering principles · Thorough understanding of equipment and process signals and monitoring strategies · Strong analytical skills/ Data Mining/Statistical Analysis (using MATLAB, JMP, Excel, Word) · FMEA experience, 6 Sigma and Lean certification a plus, along with QA understanding. · Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) · Self-Driven, Highly Motivated Individual · Teamwork Demonstration · Strong visual basic skills and pulling data through SQL, proficient in use of Excel with knowledge of advanced functions, macros and pivot table capability is a plus. · Basic knowledge of various IC manufacturing. · Strong Communication Skills. · US Military experience a plus, such as (US Navy Nuclear Power experience).
