VIE Process Engineering - Surface Engineering (M/W)

Job description

Support R&D project activities focused on technical preparation of the surfaces and cleaning processes for various coated and non-coated glass products (e.g. glasses in automobile, buildings etc.)
Detection and analysis of the surface defects formed during glass processing
Design and development of the detection techniques to identify surface defects formed during different steps of glass processing
Design of experiments and supporting subsequent pilot and production trials
Write technical reports to summarize the results of the pilot and industrial

Desired profile

University degree, preferably with focus on material science and engineering, chemical engineering, applied physics or comparable studies (M.Sc./Eng.)
Initial practical experience in design of experiments and data analysis
Good oral and written communication skills in English
Enthusiasm to tackle technical problems and challenges
High commitment and willingness to learn
Team player and ability to work in a achievement-oriented environment
Structured work style as well as the ability to adapt quickly in diverse R&D themes}
