Job description

Primary Function:
The primary function of the Configuration Data Management Administrator is to provide technical integration, architecture and oversight of Windchill PLM and associated applications. This position also provides Configuration and Data Management (CDM) support, supporting program requirements as directed to ensure proper configuration control of all products. A successful candidate will be one who proactively looks after the health of the engineering software applications, plans for the future and quickly and thoroughly addresses issues.

Essential Functions:
o Key user of Windchill PLM software. Assists Engineering with application problems and questions.
o Process engineering change requests (ECRs).
o Prepare engineering change instructions for drawing modification.
o Revise / create CAD 3D models and 2D drawings for components, subassemblies and assemblies used in commercial and military aircraft and aerospace applications.
o Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
o Assist with configuration control tasks and maintenance.
o Regular, predictable attendance is required.

Candidate skills & requirements

Basic Qualifications:
o 4-year degree in IT or Engineering from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience
o 3 years of related experience
o Possess working knowledge of AutoCAD 2010 or newer, AutoCAD Raster and NEX experience a plus.
o Advance competency with MSWord, MSExcel, MSAccess or other databasing software and general Windows Operating Systems. Experience with ERPs a plus.
o Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
