Roquette America’s manufacturing facility in Keokuk, Iowa is an expansive continuous processing corn wet-milling facility that proudly produces corn-based starches, syrups and polyols used in many food and beverage applications as well as in pharmaceuticals, paper products, cosmetics and agricultural goods.

Summary

Roquette America, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Quality Control Analyst at its Keokuk, Iowa location. Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, the Analyst will be responsible for laboratory testing of in-process samples and finished products.

Job Responsibilities:  

·  Work 12-hour shift rotation in a manufacturing Quality Control laboratory.
·  Perform a wide variety of chemical analysis for release of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
·  Evaluate performance of instrumentation and validity of test results.
·  Assess conformance of manufactured products against customer specifications.  Designate finished batches as in-spec or out-of spec.
·  Perform instrument calibrations and maintenance.  Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
·  Document analytical results in batch sheets and enter data into electronic database.
·  Maintain laboratory solutions, inventory, documentation and notebooks.

 Job Qualifications

·  Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology or other relatable science degree highly required
·  Knowledge of scientific principles, laboratory techniques/equipment preferred
·  Good organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
·  Strong communication skills and mathematical skill application
