Job Description

Position purpose: Technological control of production processes in terms of capacity utilisation, HSE & product quality. Creation & implementation of process improvements incl project generation.

Key accountabilities:

·  Technological control of production processes in terms of capacity utilisation
·  HSE & product quality
·  Creation & implementation of process improvements
·  Determination & documentation of the process control, parameters & limits (incl KPI‘s) 
·  Generation of projects related to capacity, quality & production cost upgrades
·  Contribution to the Value proposition for the customers (with sales team, customer visits & audits)
·  Management of Food safety systems related to the production area

Requirements:

·  University chemical/food science degree
·  English Language (Must)
·  Microsoft Windows Office Package and Apps, Internet, Outlook, Social Apps
·  Experience in food or chemical production (preferred)

Key competencies requirement:

·  Functional: chemical & technical knowledge, project management, Food safety systems management (preffered)
·  Managerial: production team management, customer relationship management,  ability to communicate.
·  Leadership: ability to work outside their comfort zone, and in a multi-dimensional environment

Reports to:  Starch Production Manager

Position scope:  Starch production

Main internal relationships: production department; quality department; maintenance department; supply chain; logistics department.
Main external relationships: customers; suppliers; auditing bodies, public authorities.
