Roquette Internal Audit Department reports to the CEO and the Audit Committee.
In a world where organization and environment is changing constantly and quickly, Roquette Internal Audit’s (RIA’s) mission is to provide the Top Management and the Audit Committee with independent, objective and reasonable assurance, regarding the group’s ability to control its operations in line with Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) international standards. RIA helps Roquette execute its strategy and achieve business objectives by bringing a business partner approach to assess and improve the effectiveness of Roquette’s governance, risk management, and control processes. RIA commits to alert management on significant risks and to monitor their effective mitigation.
Our vision is to drive change within the organization through a mix of risk based thematic audits and country/industrial sites/process audits.

Job Description

Purpose of the Internal Audit Manager – China:

-performs mainly local missions (risk identified at China level) that can be assurance mission, advisory mission or support to Investigation missions (performed by our dedicated Investigation Department)

-can support Corporate missions or Areas missions if needed

Each Internal Auditor does contribute to maintain the IFACI certification of the department and is responsible for continuous improvement notably through regular and specific training in line with the audit planning.

Within the Internal Audit team and according to Internal Audit Charter, you:

·  Lead the audit missions allocated to you - in accordance with the Head of Internal Audit & relevant Internal Audit Manager Areas, from the preparation, meetings, analysis, to the draft report and the follow-up of actions plans, in good spirit with auditees;
·  Follow Roquette supervision checklist  for each key steps of the audit mission to ensure consistency with IAA standards
·  Follow-up particularly the High risks for your scope by using the Group digital tool Easy audit;

·  Ensure adoption and application of Governance, Risk Management and Compliance rules across all subsidiaries of Roquette Group;
·  Monitor and update established action plans with the aim of ensuring improvement across all subsidiaries
·  Educate continuously local teams about Group policies and procedures, and establish the necessary training measures;
·  To assist other team members in their mission from time to time based on the requirements.
·  Work towards ensuring consistent improvement of processes and audits.

Specificities:

As part of the Global Risk Management & Internal audit team, you will be also allocated various specific roles to actively take part of global projects and performance management.

Education:                      

Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance/Management, Engineering or IT from a top college or university, with great sensitivity for internal audit activity (control, analysis, continuous improvement, etc.);

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and appearing for CFE level 3.

Experience:  4 years in an external audit firm (like a Big 4) or in an internal audit department (of a major corporation);

Listening skills; more than 2 years’ experience in Roquette. Very well aware of Roquette culture and processes.

Specific requirements:  Strong English (written and oral) is essential for conducting international assignments;

Mastering of the local language (written and oral) is required;

Good finance and accounting knowledge.

Computer skills especially MS Office applications, good in MS office and other applications.

Analytical skills, good in analyzing data and other information.

Some ERP experience like SAP is a plus as China is using SAP,

Ability to work in an international environment and team, and ability to make a diagnosis based on solid analysis and clear communication;

Ability to exercise judgment and tact in dealing with others including the how to handle sensitive and confidential information;

Demonstration of team spirit and of ethics attitude;

Relationship skills, diplomatic, curious and perspicacious;

Rigor and attention to details;

Business acumen; know the business model and conditions in China.

Business Trips (Percentage): Travel in France or in the different Roquette Areas (subsidiaries) may be required (around 30 %).
